Parting Spaces and Cap Construction Explained


Fixed Part Wigs: 

2x6x1 T-Part: This ia a fixed middle part wig that has no ear tabs, there is a 2 inch space of lace across the hairline that is 6 inches deep and roughly 1 inch wig. 

Lace front T-Part: This has 13 inches of lace which includes the ear tabs it is 6 inches long and roughly 1 inch wide. This type of wig is designed to be a middle part however if you trim one of the ear tabs you can shift the wig to whatever side you place to wear it on, just keep in mind the style of the cut so you do not have ant crooked line, unless that is the look you are going for.

L-Part % R-Part: a fixed part on the side of the hairline. These cannot be shifted or changed. L = Left R = Right

13x1: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 1 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it.

13x2: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 2 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it.

13x3: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 3 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it.

13x4: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 4 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it.

13x5: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 5 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it.

13x6 / Luxe / Top Shelf/ Free parting: 13 inches of lace across the hairline from ear tab to ear tab 6 inch of lace in the front from the start of the hairline back so you can part it. This typically covers the entire top crown area of the head.
