About Us!

We are Owned & invested in by myself , Heather, my husband Firefighter/RN Bryan & my 28 year old son Mike.
About Heather: I am a mother to 5 , grandmother to 6 with one due any day now. I have 2 rude & adorable frenchies, Clarke(female 7 ) & Butter (Male 1 ) .  I love old libraries, reading, exploring old homes. I have Autism, Agoraphobia & Sjogrens disease , diagnosed roughly 10 years ago. I can go in public but it’s very seldom. I have my struggles but I expect that others do as well and these are more of super powers than disabilities of any kind, in my eyes.

About Bryan : 17 years in the Fire Service, RN and amazing singer and artist. He can fix or do just about anything. We have been together since 2011.
He also loves old architecture, the ocean, and growing his herb garden. He is a dedicated husband & grandfather. He was one of the first to help implement software and data at the HSN when it first started! He has worked side jobs in Night clubs as a youth and in Information Systems as an adult to end up in the Fire Service as respected veteran firefighter/Driver/Engineer with an RN degree.
About Mike: Father to 1 son age 8, he shares custody 50/50 . He coaches little league practices and games 3-4 nights a week. He has 1 hyper Australian Shepherd named Tate. He has Epilepsy and invested in Martini Wigs to help stay self-sufficient as well as other investments he has made. He is single & an amazing brother & uncle to his siblings. He loves Baseball, BBq’s , 4 wheeling & family.  He has battled his Epilepsy with courage and positivity through many dark times. He is a confidant & at 16 when he was first diagnosed with Epilepsy he fought it until just last year at 27 , when he had his first Gran-Mal seizure free year. He is 28 now & doing great , soon will be 2 years no seizures. This does my mom heart good ❤️ !

Our Mission:

Confidence!!! Feeling good about ourselves and helping others feel good! Creating income ! Helping others create some side income ! Without income we can’t help others and others can’t help others. “It’s not all about the money” as we hear so many say, but yet it is , in order to keep things running and to donate, help , grow and extend .

How are we qualified experience wise & I’m talking personal experience not credentials.

I always had a love for hair & make-up and make-overs were my thing. I am a beauty school drop out. I love to create & inspire. I worked in a hair salon that my high school friend got me a job in when we were teens. She now is a very successful hair salon owner in Miami. We used to do make-overs together.  I went to a modeling and etiquette school in Miami, did some commercials , 1 entire commercial for Pepsi  to be exact & turned down a Coppertone modeling contract at 16 in the Bahamas because I thought I was too fat. Ha!!!
I did photography , and self taught myself photoshop, Lightroom etc.. I was decent but not incredible . I learned a lot however & I learned a lot about how people see themselves. I was a Budweiser girl in 2000 after my 3rd child. I have been in front of huge crowds, photo opportunities and PR related events for businesses and fundraisers. I now am agoraphobic. I don’t know how that happened. I rarely leave my home. Maybe that’s why I work so hard at home.

Bryan : Grew up in a Hair, Tanning and nail salon after school and on weekends helping out his mother and step-father . He is so artistically skilled that he can draw and create anything & I mean anything. He can bring all of my ideas to life , he understands the beauty business and well, he grew up in it!

Mike: Well Mike has two sisters and I was a single mom most of his life , so there’s that , he basically has been around plenty of women who also love all things hair , make-up and handbags . The women in our family aren’t really into fashion but we love our accessories.  He also has a great eye for what looks good and what is too over done.

Hair loss journey: I was depressed, severely obese & hopeless after so many things kept coming at me , I decided hey I’m going to lose some weight. I lost 25 pounds on my own . I then got long Covid, blood clots in the lungs with Covid pneumonia and PANDAS in adults where I made a Tourette’s like barking sound for months afterwards. I was so ill I was writing good bye letters to my kids. I survived. My hair did not. It just kept cycling through growth then loss and on and on until everytime I got dressed up with my make-up on , I still felt ugly. I then discovered wigs. I bought my first wig, Belle Tresse 560 dollars. I didn’t know there were cheaper alternatives. I bought a super long one and when it came , I put it on and died inside. I looked absurd. Fast-Forward to finding more affordable options to starting my own business ! I loved how confident I felt . I returned the Belle tress and got a topper that matched my own bio hair and from there slowly adjusted into wigs & then opened Martini Wigs. I wanted everyone to get this feeling ! I wanted to share more affordable options!
After opening I realized there was an expectation to not be friends with ambassadors and I wanted to change that too ,  we are all in this together . I love  to break barriers ! I love to inspire and I love to be a part of something bigger than just myself.

I have found my passion at 50 ! I had my family but I didn’t have something that was all mine to love and to enjoy and share !

I have made incredible friendships! It has been a tough business but I have a strong background! I love hard and I believe in us ! All of us! We all want the good feelings, the confidence , the strength of being uplifted together!

Thank You all ,for being a part of Martini Wigs,

the biggest part!!
With Love & Gratitude ,

Just a wig seller named Heather!
